A LATE GEORGE III BRASS-MOUNTED FIDDLEBACK MAHOGANY AND PARCEL-GILT DRUM BOOKCASE
Crossbanded overall in tulipwood and inlaid with boxwood lines, the circular top with quatrefoil trellis gallery and central octagonal hinged door enclosing a pink velvet-lined well above eight shelves divided by panels above a further four shelves and an open central shelf, on later lion-paw feet and four stepped and moulded platforms, with sunk castors, originally the revolving upper section of a library drum table
