Crossbanded overall in kingwood and inlaid with boxwood lines, the rectangular top with a three quarter gallery above four graduated shelves and a mahogany-lined drawer, the lower shelf and drawer flanked by fluted tapering turned columns with gadrooned finials, on ring-turned tapering legs, brass caps and castors, inscribed in paint to the reverse 'HL'
