Banded overall in yewwood, the rectangular moulded top with central field with chevron bands and lozenges framed by a banded border, above three frieze-drawers and two deep drawers in each pedestal, the drawers with seaweed marquetry panels, to the reverse with two lozenge-inlaid doors and the sides with a conforming arched panel, on a moulded plinth and porcelain castors stamped 'C & C PATENT', the seaweed marquetry and oyster-veneers late 17th Century and re-used
