Budapest: Hermann Geibel, 1859. 2° (600 x 424mm). 16 fine tinted lithographs, finished by hand, printed by Lemercier, lithographed by V.Adam, Eug. Cicéri and others after Andrásy, wood-engraved title vignette, initials, illustrations and decorations. (Most plates with some, very light spotting to the margins.) Publisher's brown half morocco gilt, cloth of upper cover blocked in gilt with title and vignette (cloth on upper cover somewhat faded, extremities slightly scuffed).

FIRST EDITION. A good selection of plates, with views and sport in Egypt, Sri Lanka, Java, India and INCLUDING A PARTICULARLY FINE VIEW OF HONG KONG. The majority of the plates depict hunting scenes (elephants, Javan rhino, crocodiles and tigers), but some largely topographical views are included. Andrásy was the co-author of Le Chasse et le Sport en Hongrie, [1857], a similarly lavish production.
