A Continental cut goblet and cover
Last quarter of the 18th century, Low Countries
The slightly waisted bowl with stylised leaf ornament above geometric cutting and beneath a gilt rim, on a faceted double-knopped stem and domed foot cut with similar ornament and with waved rim, the cover similarly cut and edged with a gilt band, the faceted spire finial enriched with gilding (slight rubbing to gilding)
