A Medieval pottery slender jug
13th or 14th Century
Of slightly swelling form with raised rim, applied loop handle and crimped footrim, a band of degraded green glaze to the neck and shoulder and with bands of incised lines below the rim and to the shoulder, the lower part with slanting vertical lines (chips to rim and footrim, hairline cracks to body)
13¼in. (33.5cm.) high
