Circa 1775, blue shield marks, various Pressnummern including 3 to jugs, inverted N to basket
Painted after Nicklaus Berchem with a milkmaid, a shepherdess, a goatherd, a cowherd and other figures guarding their animals in extensive wooded mountainous landscapes within elaborate orange strapwork cartouches with blue laurel wreaths and with scattered bouquets within blue and gilt zig-zag borders and gilt line rims, the entwined handles with gilt foliage terminals, comprising:

Two baluster jugs and covers (one with slight damage to finial)
Two teacups and saucers
A quatrefoil shallow basket with green ropetwist handles and flower terminals
A pierced rectangular tray (the two short sides with damage and restoration)
The tray 12½in. (32cm.) wide
