A Meissen hexagonal tea-caddy and cover
Circa 1725, blue enamel crossed swords mark
The shoulder moulded with pendant husks and the lower part with applied acanthus leaves, gilt with loosely interlocking scrollwork, the ribbed angles and shoulder richly gilt, the circular cover moulded with acanthus leaves enriched in gilding enclosing a rosette (slight rubbing to neck and shoulder)
