Modelled by J.J. Kändler, holding an axe, the blade with gilt crossed swords, his black hat with gilt moulded pick-axes, gilt-buttoned tunic and long-tailed back-apron, black knee-guards and shoes, standing before rockwork on a square mound base applied with coloured flowers and foliage (axe-head a restored replacement, restoration to fingers of left hand and sleeve, slight chipping to foliage)
