A Meissen miniature group of a cockerel and a hen
Circa 1745, faint blue crossed swords mark
Modelled by J.J. Kändler, in coupling pose, the cockerel with brown and black body and wings and long brown, black and purple tail feathers, the hen speckled in brown and purple, both with iron-red combs and wattles, on a green mound base (very slight flake to comb of cockerel)
