cover 1840 (9 Sep.), BA-IA, a very rare vertical strip of eight with enormous margins (showing portions of six adjoining stamps), neatly cancelled on refolded entire used from London to Plymouth, the entire rated "4" in manuscript and showing black double-ring "MORE/TO/PAY"; some creasing (mostly between the stamps) and a few minor marginal imperfections.
