An impressive Spanish diamond, gold and enamel pendant of the Christ Child
Set in the centre with the Christ Child as Salvator Mundi with white en ronde bosse enamel body and chased gold hair, standing below a crown with an orb in one hand and supporting a tall cross with the other, the pieces entirely set with table-cut diamonds, the openwork gold frame incorporating further table and rose-cut diamond detail and enamelled in red, white blue and green in the style of Daniel Mignot, the similarly coloured reverse with verre eglomisé medallion of the Agnus Dei and enamelled suspension loop, circa 1600, 8.0cm. high
