Manuscript on light buff paper, 200ff. each with 24ll. of tiny black naskh, punctuation in red, gold roundels between verses, sura headings in gold thuluth on blue panels between gold and polychrome spandrels, blue, red and gold margins, mounted on polished buff paper with gold and polychrome marginal medallions, very slight staining, opening fine gold and polychrome illuminated bifolio, slight tears and damages, preceding illuminated shamsa bifolio and final bifolio similar, colophon signed 'Abd al-Husain b. Muhammad al-Isfahani, in contemporary gold lacquer binding with floral decoration, red doublures with gold floral meander, slight cracking to lacquer
