Persian manuscript on gold-sprinkled India paper, 345ff. each with 15ll. of neat black nasta'liq arranged in two columns with gold floral margins, and with 28ll. arranged diagonally around the main text, divided by triangular cartouches each containing a different flower, chapter headings in cartouches within gold and polychrome spandrels, 10 finely-illuminated chapter headings in gold and polychrome, light smudging and staining, similar opening bifolio, signed by Saiyyyid 'Aziz al-Din and dated 24 Safar 1216, in black lacquer binding with floral decoration, red and gold lacquer doublures with similar floral decoration within spandrels
