From Nasr Allah's Persian version of Bidpai's Khalila wa Dimna, manuscript leaf illustrated on both sides, gouache heightened with gold on paper, RECTO two richly dressed courtiers sit in an interior, two attendants stand nearby, one with a crow perched on his arm, VERSO with two cockerels flanked by two men in stylised landscape, both miniatures with 16ll. of sepia naskh above and below, some smudging, staining, flaking of paint
