Of rectangular form on short feet, the coved cover with raised central panel, the top painted with a depiction of Fath 'Ali Shah repeating the feat of Bahram Gur while hunting, surrounded by various princes, attendants and dogs, in a landscape with trees, signed above 'raqam kamtarin Mirza Baba 124', the curved sides with further hunting scenes and depictions of Shah 'Abbas and Nader Shah divided by European portrait roundels, in a black border of gold meandering palmette vine, the sides of the base showing Khusraw discovering Shirin bathing, Bahram Gur's master shot and further hunting scenes, the interior of the cover with a further depiction of Fath 'Ali Shah hunting in a border of further hunting cartouches, very slight chipping and restoration to edges
