Vase-shaped and on spreading circular foot chased with a band of berried laurel, the lower part of the body chased with flutes and with leaf-capped scroll handles, detachable spool-shaped cover and bud finial, the body chased with a band of wave ornament and two oval cartouches, one later engraved with initials the other with a date, the cover with two crests and mottoes, marked on foot and cover
