Maker's mark of Friedrich Rossow, Stockholm, late 17th century
Cylindrical and on four pomegranate and leaf feet, the scroll handle with shield terminal and pomegranate thumbpiece and with hinged domed cover, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms and scrolling foliage and later engraved with two crests, the cover engraved with the same coat-of-arms and inscription, marked on base
