NORTH WEST PERSIA, DATED AH 1323/1904-5 AD
The shaded brick-red field with angular palmette and floral vine around a large indigo lozenge medallion of similar design with double palmette pendants containing an ivory and brick-red palmette vine medallion with a stylised flowerhead centrepiece, the shaded ice-blue spandrels with palmettes and floral vine, in a broad shaded brick-red border of polychrome floral cartouches linked by angular flowerhead vine between shaded indigo and ivory polychrome floral vine stripes, outer narrow flowerhead and chequered stripes, dated 1323, repaired crease lines, minor spot staining
