Engraved title vignettes to vols.I-II, headpieces, illustrations, woodcut illustrations. 419 engraved plates (numbered 1-441 including 226[bis] and an unnumbered plate [228 bis], with 24 leaves printed with two numbers), 56 double-page, 34 folding, the second and fourth volumes with contemporary manuscript titles. (Plates numbered 165-6 and 169-70 with outer margins extended, some browning and staining.) Contemporary mottled calf gilt (spines chipped at head and foot, some joints slightly split).
