ROSSI, Giovanni Giacomo (ca. 1665-1684, publisher). Nuova Racolta di Fontane... di Roma Tivoli e Frascati. [Rome]: Rossi, [n.d.].

Oblong 2° (262 x 405mm). Engraved throughout, title and 58 plates on 41 leaves, seven folding, by Giovanni Maggi, F. Corduba and others. (One plate shaved at upper margin, one with short tear into image, some marginal browning.) Old mottled calf (rebacked and cornered, modern blanks). Provenance: Oratorians, Paris (inscribed 'oratorii Parisiensis catalogo inscriptus'); Knight (inscription). A late edition. The title is slightly misleading as the work includes not only 42 plates of fountains, but also a single view of the waterfall at Tivoli, 8 views of villas and their gardens and 7 large folding views of Rome. Cf. Berlin Kat. 3599-3600.

[Peter Paul RUBENS (1577-1640)]. Palazzi di Genoa. [n.p.: n.d. ?1705]. Volume II only (of 2), 2° (440 x 310mm). Letterpress half-title. 67 engraved plates after Rubens (17 double-page, 6 folding). (Without title, plate 1 soiled, plates 2 & 3 torn, small rusthole in plate 33.) Old sheep (worn). A late reprint. Cf. Fowler 277 (1755 edition with different title). (2)
