Circular panel depicting a single tree in vibrant blue and green enamels detailed with tiny gold flowers, the broad silver-gilt surround with eight bands enclosing three wirework hoops, hung with three smaller circular pendant drops enamelled with simple formalised flowers, applied with broad loops for use as a buckle, hook for use as a pendant and pin for use as a brooch

In a critique of Frampton's work in enamels which includes this piece, The Studio (op. cit.), comments: 'the simple setting of gold (sic) serves only to throw into greater relief the translucent brilliancy of the enamel decoration'.
