A fine Italian micromosaic octagonal table

The octagonal top centred by a roundel depicting a hilltop castle within bands decorated with foliage and cornucopiae, the outer sectors with chamfered panels of scrolling foliage within a moulded border, on octagonal support, with foliate engraved silvered hinge, the top of the support inlaid with a coat of arms and the motto CON REAL PRIVILE(GIO), the underside of the pedestal top with pencil inscription W.G.(?)/APRIL 1909, on moulded inswept foot and lead-weighted octagonal plinth

Lot Essay
The coat of arms well well be that of Charles, Duke of Madrid (d.1909). The table may be attributable to the Falcini Brothers workshop in Florence.
