Each with foliate cartouche glazed frame with foliate embroidered silk panel, on gilt brass upright, the pierced base with baluster stem, on three slender legs and scroll feet, the reverse of one silk panel with inscription WORKED BY VISCOUNTESS STRATHALLAN 1856 within a ribbon

Lot Essay

Viscountess Strathallan, Christina Maria (née Hersey) married William Henry, 9th Viscount Strathallan in 1833. He was a Lord-in-Waiting to Queen Victoria.
