Surmounted by a reclining bacchante flanked to each side by a pair of Bacchic putti, the shaped base cast with scrolling foliage and with a volute support to each side, centred by the circular white enamel dial, with Roman numerals and Arabic minute divisions, with twin-train movement striking on a bell, signed DENIERE ET. DE BRONZES/A PARIS
