Of tapering cylindrical form, the pink ground painted with shepherd lovers and their flocks in country settings reserved in raised gold scrolls and white ornament on a deep pink ground, the hinged cover with similarly reserved flower posies, the complete contents including scissors, folding knife, ivory slip, folding rule, tweezers etc., with engraved gilt-metal mounts
