A French gold-mounted tortoiseshell gentleman's travelling case
maker's mark of Pentueau, Paris, circa 1920
Comprising, five glass bottles, a cylindrical jar, three small cylindrical glass boxes, three cylindrical glass boxes in three sizes and three oblong glass boxes, the glass etched with panels of scrolls and beading and with gold-mounted tortoiseshell covers, three cylindrical gold-mounted tortoiseshell boxes, a small circular bowl, a spindle, five various combs, three various brushes, an oblong mirror, a travelling clock, a pen-tray, a pen-knife, two etuis, a shoe horn and seven various implements, the majority inset with a monogram with sword and crown above, all in fitted leather case

The monogram is that of H.H Maharani Chimnabai II Gaekwad, Maharani of Baroda.
