SHUNCHO (fl. late 1770s-late 1790s): chuban tate-e (26.5 x 19.9cm.); a courtesan seated on a balcony with a sake cup and another standing by arranging her hairpin, from the set Fuzoku juni-ko, kugatsu, signed Shuncho ga, published by Eijudo; an oban tate-e, 37.5 x 25.6cm., probably a sheet of a triptych, a group of women and a girl walking along a stream, signed Shuncho ga, published by Fushimiya Zenroku--both good impressions, slightly faded, the former, slightly creased, the latter, soiled and stained (2)
