A GOLD LACQUER BOX AND COVER IN THE FORM OF A FAN AND EBOSHI
18th Century
Decorated in gold, silver and iroe hiramakie, kirigane and aogai, the fan depicting boats filled with flowers on a river, clouds and cherry blossom, the eboshi decorated with a ho-o bird and a peony on a textured ground, the sides with the tassels of the fan and two flutes, nashiji interiors and silver mounts, (slight scratches)
