Late Edo Period, (19th Century)
One fluted and ribbed with a brown glaze and ivory cover, 9cm. high, another oval-shaped in an olive coloured glaze over a grey body and an ivory cover (chip and finial missing to cover), 8.2cm. high, another gourd-shaped hares fur glaze, ivory cover (chip and crack to cover), 6.3cm. high and an ovoid shaped Mishima Karatsu on a celadon coloured glaze with a Korean motif of birds and flowers (cover missing), 7.1cm. high (4)

The first Van Hoorn Collection no. 1227, with note stating Morse Collection no. "66, Takatori about 1840 Prof. Morse (old Ninsei Akusawa)" and "good told Naito"
