The blade hirazukuri, iorimune having bo-hi to one side and double grooves to the other, tightly forged itame, tempered edge large choji with nioi, kaeri boshi, tang ubu with two holes, 39.5cm.,; encased in black ishimeji lacquer saya, the tsuka with iron Edo Higo fuchi, (kashira and binding missing), iron tsuba, 19th Century
