The blade osoraku zukuri, iorimune, deep sori with long kissaki, forging pattern ko-itame, tempered edge gunome of nioi extending into the kissaki, tang ubu, 21.7cm.; encased in a lacquer mounting, the tsuka and saya of black lacquer sprinkled with gold hirame decorated in gold hiramakie and aogai with chidori, (kurikata damaged), 18th Century
