The fifty-six plate russet iron suji-bachi-kabuto of steep sided rounded form, front and back plates covered with copper gilt overlaid with shinodare and igaki, four-stage tehen-kanamono, the steeply down turned mabizashi leather covered and mounted with a kuwagata-dai supporting long kuwagata, iron kiritsuke- kozane shikoro with large fukigaeshi mounted with copper gilt kiku kanamono and a mon; russet iron mempo with gilt teeth and hair moustache, four-lame iron kiritsuke-kozane-yodarekake with kiku-kanamono; the do of iron kiritsuke-kozane with gilt kiku-kanamono to the kusazuri and an agemaki bow on the back; sendan and kyubi-no-ita both with copper gilt mon; o-sode of iron kiritsuke-kozane with copper gilt kanamono; shino-gote, hodo haidate of iron kiritsuke-kozane, o-tateage suneate and a pair of black bear fur covered kutsu, the whole armour gold lacquered and laced with the omodaka design of yellow, deep purple and pale mauve on red ground; contained in a white wood kara bitsu
