Lot Essay
Prosser was an artist and topographical illustrator who worked mainly in Winchester and Eton. He published a number of books including Select Illustrations of the County of Surrey, 1828, Select Illustrations of Hampshire, 1833, Scenic and Antiquarian Features... of Guildford, 1840 and The Antiquities of Hampshire, 1842.
