A GEORGE III BURR-YEW BACHELOR'S CHEST
Banded overall in rosewood and boxwood, the rectangular folding top above two simulated drawers functioning as lopers and concealing two short mahogany-lined drawers, above three graduated long mahogany-lined drawers, the sides with yewwood veneer and on shaped bracket feet, previously with castors, and possibly reduced in height by ½in. (1.3cm.), with old label inscribed 'EXHIBITED 8TH ANTIQUE DEALERS' FAIR JUNE, 1948.'
