Mounted overall with beaded lines, the breakfront rectangular top with three-quarter pierced gallery, above a plain frieze with anthemion motifs, flanked by foliate-centred tablets, the central section with two adjustable shelves flanked by reeded and turned columns, and the sides each with a green pleated-silk backed brass-trellis panelled door enclosing two adjustable shelves and flanked by a conforming column, on gadrooned bun feet, with remains of printed label to the underside inscribed 'ENVELOPE ECONOMY LA' and inscribed in pencil 'Mrs Monte (?)...', possibly originally with a superstructure
