The first with polished fullered blade struck on the front side of the forte with two marks, the hilt with dark horn grips and nielloed silver mounts, in original leather-covered scabbard also with nielloed silver mounts, and with by-knife; the second with off-set single fuller on each side of the blade, iron-mounted hilt with dark horn grips, and iron-mounted leather-covered scabbard (chape finial missing)
