With slender tapering blade of flattened diamond section at the point, notched ricasso pierced with two circular holes for sword-breaking and recessed on the inner side for the thumb, spirally fluted quillons with globular terminals, triangular guard with scalloped edges pierced and engraved with scrollwork, compressed pommel, and spirally fluted iron grip
