The first with tapering double-edged blade with double fuller on each face and long plain ricasso, long straight quillons swelling at the tips, arms supporting barred guards on each side of the hand, knuckle-guard, writhen pommel, and wire-bound wooden grip; the second with guard of seven rings on each side
