The flat blade with ricasso and double fuller on each face of the forte, incised with letters and struck with the Toledo mark, the iron hilt comprising a large upturned scallop-shaped shell-guard, inner thumb-ring, slender flat three-quarter length knuckle-guard with outcurved tip (rear quillon missing), ovoidal pommel, and original wire-bound grip
