The first pair perhaps Spanish, 16th century, the second pair Chinese, Quing Dynasty, the third pair European, 17th century
The first pair (with minor differences) of wide triangular form, the top bar made in one with a D-shaped leather-loop, the outer suface incised with stylized Hispano-Mauresque designs, the foot-plate pierced with circular holes; the second pair of arched form pierced at the top for the leather between two dragon-heads, and with solid oval treads; the third pair each with pierced toe-plate, the oval treads filled by curved bars, with russet finish throughout
