The first with robust steel bow retained by shaped iron loops also holding the shaped iron stirrup, walnut tiller (wormed) with iron and brass mounts, and set trigger (nut missing); the second with slender steel bow and original string, lightly carved figured walnut full stock (cracked) inlaid on the cheek-piece with a white and dark horn star, fluted patch-box cover, iron and brass mounts (trigger-guard replaced), set trigger (incomplete), iron stirrup, and brass butt-plate
