With two-piece skull and high comb, embossed on each side with a stylized fleur-de-lys within a circle of tounge ornament, and with a plume-holder at the rear, the brim pointed for and aft, the base of the skull with a row of lining rivets with decorative brass washers (some missing), and with later ear-pieces
