With rebrowned twist sighted barrels signed in full on the rib, engraved breeches each with pierced platinum plug (nipples replaced), signed case-hardened scroll engraved locks decorated with game birds on one and a dog on the other, highly figured walnut half-stock, chequered grip and fore-end, scroll engraved steel mounts, vacant shield-shaped silver escutcheon, and brass-mounted ramrod: in contemporary lined and fitted mahogany case (lock mechanism detached) with embossed copper flask and leather shot-flask, London proof marks
