With two-stage barrel (lightly pitted) stamped with numerous gold-lined marks at the breech including the maker's stamp (Neue Støckel 7011) and inlaid 'Fabricado En Ceuta Ano De 1812 De Erraduras' in gold capital letters, chiselled gold-inlaid girdle, brass fore-sight within a gold oval, gold-lined touch-hole and gold band at the rear of the breech, grooved tang cut with foliage and with the remains of its punched and gilt ground, engraved dated lock with further punzón (gold lining missing) and gold-lined pan, ebonised half-stock with pierced and engraved silver side-plate, plain silver fore-end cap, and silver barrel-bolt escutcheons, Catalan-style butt, engraved iron heel-plate and trigger-guard each with pierced and engraved finial, the latter with further punzón, silver ramrod-pipe, and later iron-tipped ramrod
