A pair of 28-bore Austrian flintlock sporting guns for a boy
circa 1750
With two-stage barrels retaining much of their original blued finish and each with brass spider fore-sight, plain tangs numbered 5 and 6 respectively, plain rounded locks with original bright finish, figured walnut half-stocks with incised decoration, plain brass mounts of shaped outline, wooden trigger-guards each with brass reinforcing strap, iron sling mounts, horn fore-end caps, horn-tipped ramrods, and in fine original condition
