A cased Colt 1851 model Navy percussion revolver
No. 22219 for 1854
With blued octagonal sighted barrel (some flaking) with London address, and struck with the initials 'JC' on the left side near the barrel-wedge aperture, cylinder with naval engagement scene, blued trigger-guard and grip-strap, varnished walnut grips, matching numbers throughout, and some original finish: in fitted oak case (stained, lid repaired) lined in green baize with accessories including bullet mould and Dixon Navy flask (nozzle missing), London proof marks
