Decorated with Gustave Young style scroll engraving on the 3½in. (8.9cm.) barrel, loading lever, frame, hammer and grip-strap, the last inscribed (apparently by Young himself) 'Dr E.C. Robinson From the Inventor Col Colt.', cylinder with traces of cabin and Indian scene, varnished figured walnut butt, matching numbers, and some original finish: in American varnished mahogany case lined in burgundy velvet (faded) with some accessories including American eagle and shield flask
