With blued octagonal sighted barrel, the top-strap engraved with retailer's name and address 'Clough & Son, 9 New Bond St.t, Bath', blued cylinder, blued frame engraved with scrolling foliage within double line borders, blued safety-stop, arbor pin and rammer (the last replaced), chequered walnut butt, blued butt-cap and scroll engraved trigger-guard, and much original finish: in original lined and fitted oak case with trade label and accessories including Dixon flask (spring missing) and bullet mould, the exterior with circular brass escutcheon engraved 'Captn. Coffin 2nd Battn. 21st. Fusiliers', London Armoury mark and London proof marks
