The first by Barber, London, late 18th Century, the second by Dunderdale, Mabson & Labron, early 19th Century, and the last by W. Bond, Lombard Street, London, circa 1790
The first with turn-off cannon barrel, signed engraved action (top jaw and screw replaced), engraved sliding trigger-guard safety-catch, and flat-sided walnut butt inlaid with silver wire scrollwork (minor damage), Tower private proof marks; the second with turn-off barrel fitted with spring bayonet beneath, signed action engraved with trophies of arms (top jaw and screw replaced), thumbpiece safety-catch also locking the steel, and flat-sided walnut butt, Birmingham proof marks; the last with turn-off brass barrel (repaired), signed engraved brass action, thumbpiece safety-catch, and flat-sided walnut butt, Tower private proof marks
